BREAKING: Binance to Delist EPIC and QUICK on October 28 — QUICK Crashes Nearly 20% as Traders Rush to Exit
Binance announced on October 14 that it will delist two altcoins, Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK), and remove all of their spot trading pairs at 03:00 UTC on October 28. The decision gives holders about two weeks to decide whether to sell, move or withdraw their tokens before trading stops on the world's largest crypto exchange.
Prices reacted fast. QUICK fell nearly 20% in 24 hours to around $0.008, while EPIC dropped about 10% to around $0.40. In the first minutes after the notice, both tokens slid roughly 9% to 10%, and EPIC briefly bounced back before falling again, showing how nervous and thin trading became as soon as the news spread.
The shutdown comes in stages. Binance Futures will block new positions in both tokens from 08:30 UTC on October 20 and will close and settle open positions automatically at 09:00 UTC that day. Spot copy trading ends on October 21, deposits stop being credited after October 29, and withdrawals are expected to stay open until December 28.
Binance said the move follows its regular review of listed assets, looking at trading volume and liquidity, development activity, team commitment, network safety and transparency. The exchange named no single violation. Both tokens had already spent months under Binance's Monitoring Tag for higher-risk assets — QUICK since April 30 and EPIC since May 22.
For traders, losing a Binance listing usually means much lower liquidity and wider price swings, and past delistings have often triggered double-digit drops. Anyone holding EPIC or QUICK should check the deadlines carefully, avoid panic decisions in thin markets, and plan an exit or withdrawal well before October 28.
