Hong Kong is giving Solana another big moment. The city's second spot Solana ETF, the Pando Solana ETF (ticker 2831.HK), is set to start trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange tomorrow, Monday, October 13, according to an official Solana announcement reported today. It gives Asian investors one more regulated way to buy exposure to SOL without opening a crypto exchange account.
The size of the Solana ETF market is now hard to ignore. Spot Solana ETFs worldwide already hold about $1.9 billion in net assets, and total net inflows into these funds have reached about $1.61 billion. That is serious money for a coin that many traditional investors still see as a risky altcoin, and it shows how fast ETF demand for Solana has grown.
The timing matters for traders. In the United States, spot Solana ETFs recorded about $24.8 million in net outflows last week, ending a long 14-week inflow streak. So while American buying has cooled for now, Hong Kong is opening a fresh door. Traders will be watching whether new Asian demand can balance the softer US flows.
Solana's price is holding steady ahead of the listing. SOL was trading near $112, up around 1.5% in the last 24 hours, while Bitcoin held near $84,000 and Ethereum stayed above $2,500. A new ETF launch can bring extra volume and sharp moves on listing day, so traders should expect possible volatility in both directions when trading begins on October 13.
For the wider market, this is another sign that Hong Kong wants to lead Asia in regulated crypto products, after its earlier Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Every new listing makes it easier for traditional money to enter crypto, and that steady institutional path is one of the main stories behind Solana's strength this year.
