BREAKING: Injective Jumps Nearly 12% Above $8.20 as Layer-1 Coins Lead the Rebound — Volume Surges 40%
Injective (INJ) has jumped nearly 12% in the last 24 hours to trade above $8.20, making it one of the strongest Layer-1 coins in today's market rebound. Sector data shows Layer-1 tokens rising about 1.5% overall, while Bitcoin gained about 1.2% back above $83,000 and Ethereum rose about 1.9% above $2,500.
Trading activity jumped with the price. Reports put INJ's 24-hour trading volume up about 40% to roughly $171 million, a sign that the move is backed by real buying and not just a thin, quiet market. When volume rises this fast with price, traders usually watch closely to see if the momentum can hold through the day.
Part of the talk around Injective is institutional. Gulf Labs, the digital-asset arm of Thailand's GULF Group, has begun operating an institutional validator on the Injective network. Traders are also discussing Injective's work toward SEC-registered transfer agent status, which supports its role in compliant real-world asset tokenization — an area big investors are watching closely.
On the charts, INJ now faces resistance near $8.47. A strong daily close above that level could open the way toward $8.85, traders say. On the downside, the $7.95 to $8.00 area is the first support to defend, with stronger support near $7.75 if sellers push back.
For traders, the message is simple: Injective is beating the wider market today, but fast double-digit moves can reverse just as quickly, especially with the big US inflation report due today that could shake Bitcoin and the whole crypto market. Careful position sizing matters more than chasing the green candles.
