BREAKING: Starknet Crashes 23% to $0.09 as Traders Cash Out After 76% Weekly Surge — Big Token Unlock Looms

Starknet STRK price news crashes 23 percent to $0.09 profit-taking 127 million token unlock tradingStarknet (STRK) has crashed hard in the last 24 hours, falling about 23% to around $0.09. The drop sharply underperforms the wider market and comes just days after STRK surged about 76% in one week on excitement over Starknet's plan to become a standalone, quantum-resistant Layer-1 network.

The selling is heavy, not quiet. Trading volume stayed near $400 million in 24 hours, which shows traders are actively cashing out after the parabolic run, not just drifting lower. STRK's market value has fallen back to roughly $650 million, even though the token is still up strongly over the past month after its huge rally.

The wider market is not helping. Total crypto market value fell about 1.6% as traders stayed cautious ahead of the big US inflation report, and more than $300 million in leveraged positions were liquidated in 24 hours, mostly longs. When leverage unwinds like this, fast-moving altcoins like STRK usually fall much harder than Bitcoin.

Traders now face another big test on October 15, when about 127 million STRK tokens, worth over $11 million, are set to unlock for early contributors and investors. Analysts say STRK could find support near $0.075 if buying returns, but a break below that level could open a deeper fall toward $0.065, especially if unlock sellers add fresh supply.

For traders, this looks like a cooling-off after a speculative frenzy rather than the end of the story — but the risk is still very high. With a major unlock only two days away and sentiment fragile ahead of US inflation data, STRK could see sharp moves in both directions, so position size and leverage need extra care.
