While money was rushing out of Bitcoin and Ethereum funds last week, XRP quietly did the opposite. U.S. spot XRP ETFs took in about $11.3 million in the week from October 5 to October 9, which stretches their run to 13 straight weeks of net inflows, according to SoSoValue flow data reported across the crypto press.
The contrast with the two biggest coins is sharp. In the same week, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs lost roughly $679 million and Ethereum ETFs lost about $542 million — more than $1.2 billion walking out of the two largest fund groups combined, while XRP funds kept adding money for a third month in a row.
The price, however, told a different story. XRP started the week near $1.52 and finished it around $1.40, sliding to about $1.32 at its lowest point on October 8 — a weekly drop of roughly 7 to 8 percent. In other words, ETF buyers were buying the dip at the same time as spot traders were selling it.
One name did most of the heavy lifting. Bitwise's XRP fund brought in about $10.6 million of the week's total, and the single biggest day was October 8 itself, when roughly $8.2 million came in on the very day the price hit its low. U.S. XRP funds now hold around 1.19 billion XRP, with lifetime net inflows of roughly $1.8 billion.
For traders, this steady fund demand puts a small but persistent bid under XRP, but it is still small money next to the selling pressure in the wider market, and so far the streak has not been enough to lift the price. The levels to watch now are support near $1.32 and resistance around $1.50 — and whether the inflow streak survives another weak week.
